Screen Ireland needed a creative way to showcase their Where to Watch platform - a global search engine for Irish-made film, TV drama, animation, and documentaries. Users simply enter a title, and the platform tells them where it’s available to stream or watch.
Tie the three biggest Irish language films together in a way that celebrates the language, Irish film, the Where To Watch platform - all with an existing creative device that was designed for English.
Idea: A WhereToWatch search bar that changes the content around it as you type.
We mimicked the search function of the WhereToWatch site to show off Irish film. We brought the search bar to life- transforming it into a narrative engine that drives the entire film. As each word is typed, the story onscreen shifted to connecting three powerful Irish-language films through clever, evolving copy.
